ARCH Cutting Tools is looking for an experienced grinder seeking to step into leadership that understands mid to advanced level grinding principles as well as how to run a team. SummaryManage production goals, ensure machines are running and jobs are assigned to machinists. Work to increase productivity and participate in weekly Team Lead Meetings.Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department Set up, operate, and maintain various grinding machines, surface grinding, OD, Bryant ID griding, etc. Supervise and train as needed - escalating serious situations to the Plant SupervisorEnsure your team is completing required safety trainingReport various metric to plant supervisor or General ManagerBe a "coach" for your group while also working as an all-star grinder CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Leadership skills, able to communicate well and motivate a team.
