We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Dispatcher to serve as the central communication hub for both emergency and non-emergency situations. This role involves receiving requests, transmitting messages, and tracking tire products and services to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, remain calm under pressure, and manage multiple tasks with precision. Your primary goal will be to facilitate seamless communication between various parties by ensuring accurate and timely transmission of critical information.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately recorded.
+ Dispatch appropriate resources and personnel in response to calls, coordinating with relevant departments and external partners.
+ Track and monitor the movement and status of tire products and services to ensure timely delivery and service completion.
+ Maintain detailed logs of all communications, dispatches, and service tracking for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
+ Communicate effectively with field personnel, providing clear instructions and updates as needed.
+ Utilize mapping and GPS software to accurately locate destinations and direct resources accordingly.
+ Handle multiple incoming calls and requests simultaneously, ensuring that urgent matters are addressed promptly.
+ Assist with the coordination of daily operations and ensure that all dispatch activities align with company policies and procedures.
+ Respond to any unexpected situations or emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve dispatch processes and enhance overall service quality.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in dispatching or emergency services are a plus.
+ Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably within the tire services, transportation, or logistics industries.
+ Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
+ Strong ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
+ Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple calls and requests simultaneously.
+ Proficiency in using dispatch software, mapping tools, and GPS systems.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and tracking.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accountability.
+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time while handling calls and dispatch duties.
+ Occasionally required to lift and move objects up to [insert weight] pounds.
**Work Environment:**
+ The position is primarily office-based, with frequent use of computers, phones, and dispatch equipment.
+ May involve working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational needs.
**Pay Range:**
$14.00-$17.00 Hourly
