Description

Rising Aviation High School (RAHS), located at Addison Airport, Addison, Texas, is an innovative non-profit (501(c)3) high school program immersing students in an aviation-centric STEM environment. Students complete all their required courses while attending school, however, special emphasis is placed on aviation courses for their electives. RAHS is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator who is passionate and driven to support kids and entrepreneurial in their approach to fundraising. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a school that is destined for greatness and growth.

RAHS is a fully accredited Texas private high school, recognized by the Texas Education Agency, Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools, and STEM.org

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

? Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

? 3- 5 years experience and proven success in non-profit fundraising. School experience preferred

? Entrepreneurial spirit to take initiative, build the donor base, and create unique fundraising opportunities

? Prefer experience with donor management software systems

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, foundations, and donors

? Collaborate with the school leadership, parents, board advisors to develop fundraising strategies and campaigns.

? Track and report on the progress of funding applications and grants submitted and received

? Maintain detailed records of funding sources and related documentation

? Engage with potential donors to promote fundraising campaigns

? Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions

? Collaborate with team members to achieve fundraising targets

? Participate in fundraising events and activities

? Develop and submit grant proposals to secure financial support for our programs.

? Assist in the organization and operation of the School Advisory Board

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

? Strong and proactive communications skills to effectively engage with donors

? Savvy in the use of computer technology and software systems

? Effective communication in written/verbal forms, both internal and external to the organization

? Ability to sell ideas, projects, or products persuasively

? Organizational skills to manage donor information and fundraising materials

? Customer service experience to provide excellent donor support

Salary Description

$20/hr plus bonus
