Job Description

American Systems seeks an exceptionally well qualified DoD Senior Analyst (Top Secret) with demonstrated expertise in all aspects of S&T and financial analysis, especially those involving management of a large and diverse portfolio of capabilities.

A Week in the life of a Senior Analyst (Top Secret):

+ Manage and support analysis of prospective and ongoing projects and demonstrations of emerging, innovative technologies.

+ Provide support to project management, analysis, and funding recommendations

+ Maintain situational awareness of all project actions and activities

+ Maintain a thorough understanding of S&T processes and procedures.

+ Support or develop briefings and documentation as required.

+ Respond to requests for information.

+ Coordinate and collaborate across the Department of Defense and with other Government agencies, academia, and industry for situational awareness and information sharing.

Job Requirements

+ A bachelor's degree or higher in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, management, or national security area.

+ Minimum 10 years experience with scientific, engineering, or technical portfolio support.

+ Must have experience with project management and analysis of projects.

+ Ability to synthesize vast amounts of complex technical data into senior executive level information.

+ Experience with OSD processes and procedures related to preparing technical briefs, presentations, packages, and DoD/Congressional-level correspondence.

+ Experience preparing presentations and other visualization forms to communicate results and artifacts to varied audiences.

+ Top Secret clearance (with SCI eligibility)
