Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a daytime outpatient rehabilitation position with at least 1 year of experience and an active CA PT license. Responsibilities Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting Day shift schedule 13-week assignment No travel required for this position EMR use is required for evaluations, reports, and documentation Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing rehabilitation programs, and supervising PT Assistants and Aides Collaborates closely with front office staff for scheduling and patient follow-up Expected to comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all privacy and safety regulations Must be comfortable with independent decision-making in patient care Business casual attire or scrubs may be required Involvement in marketing and referral processes may be expected Continuing education courses are preferred Requirements Degree in Physical Therapy required Minimum of 1 year of PT experience required Active California Physical Therapist license required if applicable Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing services Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility and transferring Strong computer skills including EMR, typing, and internet usage Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-607941.
