Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering and development, with a strong foundation in the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (Agile Development), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
  • Identify and address technical debt, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development and CI/CD.
  • 2+ years of any general purpose language, eg. C++, C#, Python, Rust or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with computer technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, .Net Core, NextJs or Node.js 
  • Experience with React, ReactNative, or Vue.js
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience with source control tools, eg. Git and Jira
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ experience with Django and React
  • 2+ system architecture design of large-scale infrastructure
  • 2+ experience with cloud solutions, eg. AWS, Lambda Functions, or other related
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases or similar technology
  • Experience with building APIs (JSON, SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL, etc)
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
