Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required) Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools) May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Primary function of a Field Engineer Responsible for site surveying and treatment plant site layout. Provides technical information to the site superintendent to ensure compliance with all drawings and specifications. Establish exterior-interior grade and working lines for contractors or crafts. Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems, referring them to the Project Engineer. Duties: Organization Adhere to schedule given by Superintendent and Foreman Keep all drawings and RFIs updated (office and field sets) Leadership Work closely with Superintendent and Foreman to coordinate job layout Must work with and train rodmen Assist subcontractors with layout drawings Coordinate with subcontractors on layout needs Adhere to safety policies and identify violations Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related education or equivalent experience preferred North Carolina Professional Land-Surveyor Certification,

required Proficient in total station and applicable software Experience with figuring quantities such as concrete, rock, and dirt Experience with As-Built built drawings Experience with AutoCAD Experience with Carlson Software Figuring coordinates Experience with using level/and or laser for shooting grades This position requires covering multiple project sites.
