Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER Central Arizona

Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER for a great opportunity in the Central Arizona area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years current experience working in acute care hospital in the Emergency department and 3+ years of experience working in an Emergency department in a RN leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER

The Nurse

Director of Emergency

Department assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls in order to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER accurately identifies real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow through and communication

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER coaches immediate subordinates providing feedback; constructive critique of work; facilitates individual development plan, and documents their job performance

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER enforces standards of emergency department care and develops processes to measure and ensure consistent compliance

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER i s responsible for the fiscal management of department; assures proper utilization of organization’s financial resources

The Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER d emonstrates a poised and confident demeanor that reassures others and commands respect within the organization and the community

Requirements of the Nurse Director of Emergency Room ER

5 years of current experience working in a hospital

2 years of current experience working in a management role in an Emergency Department

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred

Current and Valid RN license
