Required Qualifications: High school graduate, GED or equivalent Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) or be able to obtain within 90 days of employment Hold state required license and/or certification which allows placement of IVs or must be willing to obtain within 90 days if required by state (e.g. RN License; LPN + IV Certification) Working knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Willing to complete a color blindness test Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Med-Surg, ER, ICU, Acute Care Experience with electronic health records (EHR) Experience in MS Office Knowledge of medical equipment and maintenance or ability to learn how to maintain medical equipment Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous and effective manner with excellent customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
