JOB DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop and roll out on-premises and cloud service solutions based on demand by the firm's lines of business partners that execute firmwide data strategies and offerings. Partner with engineering teams to define services to build platforms, then orchestrate the release and go-to-market strategy. Work with data provider and data consumer clients to translate business use cases to technical use cases that meet both business and governance requirements. Prioritize, plan, and develop the road map for the firms data strategy for data sharing. Drive new capabilities, features, and services for integration with cloud data platforms. Introduce product themes, prioritize requirements using business metrics, manage backlogs, and develop detailed business requirements and user stories. Work with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and prepare for product readiness and delivery. Update products and strategies as the firm's lines of business data strategies evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Engineer, Big Data Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Engineer, Big Data Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Public cloud big data solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; public cloud warehouse and analytic tools such as Snowflake or Redshift; Business process flow analysis, design, and documentation; Python or Unix shell scripting; Data Governance; Data Catalog and Discovery; Designing reports for metrics, analytics, and leadership scorecards; Technical product management; Agile; Data Engineering; Delivering application enhancements as a product owner.
