Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Performs various clerical duties within the Credit Administration Department.

  • Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

Insurance
  • Assists in all insurance related job activities. Some of these activities include calling insurance agencies to request updated insurance policies, sending letters to customers regarding missing insurance documents, and paying insurance bills for customers who have an escrow account.
  • Coordinates credit life claims and submits payments.
  • Coordinates force-placed claims and sends payments for force-placed policies.
  • Reviews flood coverage for new loans and coordinates tracking of flood insurance with CPI; sends paid loan report to ServiceLink to cancel life of loan monitoring.
Lien Perfection/Collateral Release
  • Files online required UCCs; renews as directed and imports to Precision.
  • Creates and maintains document tracking reports to ensure that the bank has received important documents such as the recorded deeds of trust/mortgage, final title policies, title liens, and UCCs.
  • Assists in processing collateral releases for all loan types.
  • Releases collateral in a timely manner; creates Collateral Release Authorization for loan officers signatures.
  • Sends paid note and any other necessary documents to the customer.
  • Scans documentation of released collateral into the system.
Escrow
  • Assists in the escrow function for the department. This function includes preparing reports and letters to send to county and city collectors requesting property tax information and then sending the payments for these taxes.
  • Maintains correct escrow amounts for taxes and insurance on Precision as well as assists in processing the annual escrow analysis statements.
Other
  • Assists with maintenance of various loan accounts.
  • Assists with participation loans, including loading into core system and the posting of payments.
  • Orders appraisals for secondary market loans.
  • Assists with loan check-backs and loan payment reviews.
  • Assists with various other job duties as directed by the Credit Administration Officer or Senior Credit Administration Officer.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
