Schedule: M - Th 7am-5p/6p depending on workload, Fridays: Off, unless catching up on work, must be willing to have phone on for emergencies

Pay: $125K - $150K

Job Summary:

The Controller role will plan and direct the accounting operational functions for the following affiliates of this client.

General Accountabilities
•Maintain oversight of all financial reporting across all locations (Florida, California, Canada & Australia).
•Ensure all consolidated financial reports are closed and completed in a timely manner on a monthly basis to meet the reporting deadline to the lending institution (on or about the 15th each month).
•Financial planning & analysis (operational analysis, cash flow management, forecasting, and related activities).
•Complete the quarterly BDC analysis and produce the relevant reports.
•Assist in the implementation of a replacement accounting/reporting system for all locations (An ERP system has already been identified).
•Work directly with the independent audit firm and the company CFO to ensure all financial statement audit deliverables and deadlines are met.
•Ensure all tax payments are being made timely and provide required support to the tax team for the preparation of the annual tax returns.
•Ensure all debt payments are made timely each month, in accordance with the debt agreements.
•ADHOC projects as needed/required by Management Team
•Travel will be required (approximately 10% -20%)

Education and Experience
•BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance. (CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required).
•At least 5-10 years of related experience.
•Knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace industry (preferred).
