The Divisional Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of their division(s) of the Company by overseeing and creating a timely and accurate system of accounting records. The Divisional Controller is also responsible for adhering to a comprehensive set of cost controls as established at the Corporate level which are designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the Company’s reported financial results. The Divisional Controller will assist in making educated economic decisions about the division’s future. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others. • Oversees divisional accounting activities and transactions for the accurate and timely monthly close of accounting periods. • Maintains a thorough understanding of the division’s operations to support the operations’ management team and ensure appropriate accounting of the business. • Analyzes financial results to determine month over month variances in revenue and cost drivers. • Keeps financial records current and error free. • Assists in the auditing processes and maintenance of the Corporate chart of accounts. • Adheres to an orderly accounting filing system. • Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions. • Provides pertinent information for their respective division to the Corporate budgeting and forecasting groups. • Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required monthly. • Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the Corporate Controller or Vice President of their respective division. Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field. Experience

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; AND a minimum of four (4) to six (6) years’ professional accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role; minimum of ten (10) years’ experience may be substituted for educational requirement. Knowledge of principles and practices of economics and accounting, banking, and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of principals, practices and methods of strategic planning, resource allocation and analysis. Knowledge of techniques and practices of the efficient and cost- effective management of company resources. Displays and adheres to all legal, ethical, and professional rules of conduct. Preferred

CPA is highly desired, and additional specific technical training and certifications may be required. Licenses & Certifications
