As a Catering Bartender, you are responsible for providing high-quality beverage service at events and functions. Your role involves preparing and serving drinks, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere. You work closely with the catering team to deliver exceptional service that meets the needs and expectations of clients and guests.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.50

Responsibilities
- Set up and organize the bar area at catering events, including arranging supplies, utensils, and equipment.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to guest preferences and event requirements.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations when requested.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying the age of guests and monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent overindulgence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste.
- Work closely with the catering team to coordinate beverage service with food service and other event activities.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including operating a cash register and reconciling sales at the end of events.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Assist with setup and cleanup before and after events, including packing and transporting bar equipment and supplies.
- Provide assistance and support to other catering staff members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
- Previous experience in bartending or beverage service, preferably in a catering or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes, including cocktails, wine, and mixed drinks.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages, including garnishing and presentation.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink orders.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing alcohol service and safety.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
