Cybersecurity Engineer

Experience Required •5-8 years of OT Security
•5-8 years of experience with security principles, defense-in-depth techniques, ICS systems and ICS security industry practices, along with exposure to IoT and IIoT technologies.
•Experience supporting PLC, HMI, DCS or SCADA systems and industrial protocols.
•Experience designing and implementing secure control systems, based on industry standard frameworks such as NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and ISA 99.
•Current holder of security certifications preferred.
•Understanding of industrial safety culture along with experience working safely in hazardous industrial environments such as plants, refineries, or offshore production facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities •Under guidance of the Global Information & Cyber Security GICS OT Lead, represent GICS for Operational Technology (OT) related activities, Engineer, implement, integrate and maintain effective methods to protect ICS/OT systems.
•ssess security posture, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate / manage risks through MADJV projects.
•Provide technical security-focused reviews of architectural designs, application settings, system configurations, networking/firewall rules, and related items.
•Work with GICS Directors, GICS OT Lead, and GICS MADJV Manager on recommending plans on all OT related activity. Use established process, procedures and standards, while recommending process improvements through experience and best practice.
•Solve complex digital and operational security problems facing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) used within a critical infrastructure cyber-landscape. Anticipate problems and identify long-term implications of decisions and actions.
•Interface with IT, OT, and other MADJV stakeholders to operationalize security requirements to enable operations and maintain the security posture to appropriate risk levels. Collaborate within the broader Information Security function and MADJV leads to help design and implement security improvements and requirements.
•Perform functions in a timely manner and with extreme level of attention to detail, urgency and thoroughness.
