Position SummaryWe are looking for a Guest Service Representative, also known as, "Seller of Joy" & "Cake Ambassador" We are looking for a very special kind of person to become a part of our bakery family. We know that qualities like sincerity, warmth, hard work, and a little humor will take you far at NBC. The position of the Guest Services Representative (GSR) is to create a warm and welcoming environment in which to serve the NBC guests both in person and by telephone. The GSR wears several different hats which includes decorating cakes, prepping materials for future orders, crafting, light cleaning and organizing orders/materials.

Responsibilities
  • Abide by all NBC bakery policies and procedures
  • Assist other departments when necessary
  • Introduce walk-in guests to the bakery and our products (tasting our products is a MUST)
  • Suggest creative solutions to guests with walk-in orders
  • Suggest the purchase of add-ons and retail to make the product a complete experience
  • Assist phone-in guests with their orders
  • Give cake presentations while performing quality control tests
  • Operate and balance the POS (Point of Sale system) with accuracy and efficiency
  • Have current and complete knowledge of prices, products and promotions
  • Keep retail & work areas clean, swept and neatly merchandised throughout the day
  • Ability to support crafting department
  • Track inventory
  • Operate NBC vehicles where required
Job Types: Full-time

Schedule: Must be able to work Evenings and weekends - Close at 7:00pm weekdays and only open 5 hours on Sundays

Benefits: Paid Training

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
