POSITION OVERVIEW
This Human Resources Manager is responsible for

overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and recruiting. The HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates
New Hire Orientations
Prepare new-employee files and benefit enrollment packets
Administer/provide employee support for the benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations
Administer the FMLA, STD, LTD, PTO and other leaves of absence
Coordinate, participate and lead the company's Safety Program
Employee Relations investigations, support with discipline and follow up
Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to
Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
Complete special human resources projects including setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information; and analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports
Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
Provide guidance and support to local managers on performance management with the aim of preventing employee concerns
Develop employee training and development programs
Coordinate the administration of employee safety, occupational health, security, and workers compensation programs; Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations

REQUIRED SKILL SETS:

Minimum 3 years

of human resources experience with at least one year in the manufacturing space
Experience advising managers and employees in employment related matters such as performance, employee relations issues, safety, and compliance
Ability to work independently and comfor table

making decisions with ambiguity
Experience with Microsoft Suite
Familiar with an ERP and MRP
Ability to work onsite in Haysville, Kansas
High School Diploma
PREFERRED SKILL SETS:

Experience with JobBoss
Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese
