Detailed Description

  • Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment that leverage AWS services.
  • Automate Cloud operations and maintenance tasks as appropriate to improve the capability, efficiency, and customer delivery time.
  • Build, manage, and deploy architectures using technologies such as Serverless and Kubernetes
  • Automate tasks across the full CI/CD lifecycle to create an efficient developer experience and reduce manual actions.
  • Promote and implement best practices in observability (monitoring, tracing, alerting, logging) and high availability within the software engineering group.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to mitigate disruption for any system being supported by the DevOps team.
  • Good written and technical briefing skills - can effectively communicate with teammates and leadership.
  • Keep system documentation updated as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years in DevOps or SRE roles, with a focus on tooling, automation, and distributed systems development
  • 1+ Experience with Continuous integration/Continuous deployment tools, services, and methodologies (GitHub Actions, Codefresh pipelines etc)
  • Experience architecting, designing, and implementing deployments in AWS cloud environments.
  • Understanding of networking and ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues in an AWS environment.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skill, as well as presentation and demo skills
  • 1+ years of Infrastructure as Code (iaC) with Terraform/CloudFormation and scripting with Python/Shell.
  • Experience with Application and Infrastructure monitoring using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch etc.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security tools like Qualys, Prisma Cloud etc.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Automating routine tasks of AWS resource management using Python scripting.
