508 Compliance Specialist

CHEVO is hiring a 508 ComplianceSpecialistto join our team. The 508 Compliance Specialist will provide support to an Agile Software Development Team. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Support Agile scrum team in analysis of 508 requirements to identify acceptance test criteria
Analyze application design, interface, and database design documentation to identify key areas for 508 testing focus
Design and execute 508 test cases
Log and monitor defects using defect tracking and reporting tool such as Rational ClearQuest or Rational CLM
Participate in Agile scrum team activities including daily standup, release planning, sprint planning and end of sprint ceremonies.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university required; an additional fiveyears of related work experience can substitute for a degree. Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of general experience.
Demonstrated experience in 508 Compliance Testing.
At least5 years of experience with hands on 508 testing of web applications
Experience using one or more of the following: JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking
Strong technical writing and presentation skills, excellent verbal communication skills
Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance.
Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years
Candidates must be Federal Tax compliant.
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience with using a test automation framework and related tools such as Selenium
Experience with test automation including automation of 508 test cases using scripting tools
Experience using Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) method
Experience with IBM Rational Tools such as Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Rational Functional Tester (RFT)
Experience with Agile software development tracking tools such as Rational Team Concert (RTC) or Jira
Prior experience supporting IRS IT Software Development programs
Active IRS Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus
Experience with Agile methodologies
