Position Summary

The Operations Specialist I position provides overall support to the operations staff, encompassing a wide variety of responsibilities. This position requires the flexibility and willingness to assist where necessary; at times taking on new and evolving responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Provide support to operations/midstream management and staff
Assist with oil and gas month-end close
Accounts payable duties as needed
Regulatory reporting
Create daily/monthly reports from various sources
Attend monthly accrual meetings
Some administrative assistant duties, such as assisting field personnel with office paperwork

Requirements

Qualifications
2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or Operations Specialist within the oil and gas industry preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Spotfire
Strong working knowledge of other database applications such as WellEZ and Citrix
Familiarity with work order input and tracking systems
Strong written and verbal communications skills a must
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands and Exposures
Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push or pull 10-100 pounds.
Occasionally may require squatting, crawling and climbing ladders and stairs.
May require walking, standing, bending, reaching above shoulders, reaching to the floor, working at heights, and working around moving machinery.
