Job description
SILAB develops, manufactures and markets patented natural active ingredients with proven efficacy and safety to the world's leading cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic companies to enhance the beauty of healthy skin (SILAB Cosmetics department) and to care for compromised skin (SILAB Softcare department).
The Sales Department is responsible for the technical and marketing promotion of SILAB's active ingredients and ensures the daily follow-up of the customer relationship, getting involved in its partners' projects and providing all the useful information about the company's products and know-how. Based on trust, on scientific expertise and on the availability of the team, commercial exchanges cover a wide range of missions.
Joining our American’s team and under the supervision of our American Subsidiary General Manager, you will have several duties as:
- developing the business of our cosmetic ingredients’ portfolio with regional leaders and potential customers;
- prospecting new customers;
- consolidating the existing portfolio of customers in the assigned territory;
- creating or reinforcing effective relationships and loyalty with customers, decision-makers, and influencers;
- detecting and following-up your clients’ projects, supported by tools and teams’ interfaces at SILAB;
- participating to events and dedicated shows as exhibitor or visitor.
You will have strong interfaces with internal dedicated teams for scientific and marketing support, customer project leaders, and sales and logistics administration linked to customers’ needs and demands. Upon your arrival, you will benefit from a strong training support and an annual training schedule linked to SILAB University program (France and US). You will report to your manager, who will oversee your activity and support you in your development.
Profile
As this job mixes science and business, we require a bachelor, a master or engineering degree in biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or similar. You are recently graduated, or you have 1 to 2 years’ experience in product development, marketing or sales for BtoB or BtoC in cosmetics, pharmacy or food industry. You have a strong interest in learning and self-development. You are communicative and attracted by new challenges. You are interested in building long-term human and business relationships and aspire to join an international company with high values and constant growth.
