Financial Analyst

CFS has partnered with a higher education organization to identify their new Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in Accounts Payable tasks, including workflow allocation and invoice processing. Additionally, they support month-end and year-end audits by processing journal entries and preparing account analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate card program, including credit limits and cardholder lists.
  • Review corporate card submissions for policy adherence.
  • Maintain and update Travel and Expense and Corporate Card Policies.
  • Review expense reimbursements for policy compliance.
  • Ensure documentation of expenses business purpose and benefit to the organization.
  • Extract, verify, analyze, and report institutional data.
  • Complete periodic account reconciliations.
  • Assist in Accounts Payable workflow allocation.
  • Support monthly and annual audit reporting.
  • Coordinate special projects, including data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in policy and procedure development.
  • Stay updated on new technologies for Finance Office efficiency.
  • Perform general month-end and year-end audit support tasks.
