**Job Title: Custodial Worker**

**Job Description**

As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various areas of the hospital. Your duties will include cleaning patient rooms, administrative offices, and hallways by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and taking out trash. You will also handle tasks such as removing dirty linens, replacing them with new ones, collecting and transporting biohazardous waste, and restocking cleaning supplies. Compliance with PPE guidelines and interaction with patients, visitors, and staff are also key components of this role.

**Job Type**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Poway, California.

**Work Environment**

This position requires working weekends and holidays with two days off during the week. Shifts available include 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM). The hospital is highly active, often accommodating 100-200 patients daily, and requires a fast-paced turnaround in cleaning due to frequent patient intakes. You will be part of a team of 80 full-time EVS employees and will need to be comfortable working in various areas, including patient and operating rooms.
