EECO provides a combination of capabilities for our OEM and Industrial customers, including onsite assessments, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our sales efforts with a focus on our industrial market as we expand our unique services throughout North Carolina. This position, in conjunction with our Sales Executives will create, develop and lead the strategy for the region, identifying new business opportunities while engaging and providing leadership, guidance and support to those responsible for servicing our existing accounts in our NC region to include existing markets in Raleigh, Greensboro, Laurinburg and the developing extended market of Charlotte. Position Summary:The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the oversight, development and growth of our business in the region, covering our entire range of product and service offerings with focus on those in the industrial, OEM market. This position is responsible for defining sales market strategies and delivering field level execution, in alignment with Company objectives. This role is critical to the professional development of our sales team. The Regional Sales Manager will lead the sales force in developing sales opportunities through partnering with our customers, understanding their business needs and offering them the best solutions. The Regional Sales Manager sets the direction and has overall responsibility for the coordination and alignment of the sales resources and ultimately the team's results.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for the region's results and overall performance towards our objectivesActively involved with the Sales Team; coaching and developing on delivering on strategy and business developmentPreparing and completing action plansAccountable for vendor relationshipsDevelops and prepares key metrics for presentation to our Sales ExecutivesCreate sales/business plans for the regionIdentifies and assists team with developing new customer opportunitiesCoordinates the involvement of other teams members to meet account performance objectives and customer expectationsEnsures great customer experienceActive engagement with key customersPosition Requirements: Technical or Bachelors degree in Engineering or other technical field of study (preferred) or equivalent work experience in either the Electrical or Industrial/Manufacturing industries4+ years previous leadership experienceFamiliarity and experience with B2B sales to industrial and OEM marketsDemonstrated abilities to research and develop new business opportunitiesRegional market awareness is a plusTechnical competency in a broad range of industrial electrical components and systems preferredExcellent communications skills (both written and oral)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and complete tasksEECO offers a competitive compensation and benefit program.
