THE JOBAs a Utility Houseperson, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.STARTING PAY RATE: $19.38THE DAY-TO-DAYClean carpet, upholstery, glass table tops, and windows; polish marble and rearrange furniture inside the guest rooms per guest requestStocking housekeeping carts with amenitiesResponding to calls and guest requestComplete dusting of high/elevated areasPull bed out away from wall for dusting behind head boardDeliver variety of linen, including sheets, pillow cases and terry items to floors; and stock new linen in Guest Room Attendant locker roomsWork with bonnet machine, extraction, and furniture cleaning machine (CFR) to remove stains from chairs, couches, etc.Clean up bio hazard areasGeneral cleaning of guest rooms and hallwaysReport torn carpet, wall finishes, and damaged furniture to be repairedClean all removable marks, dirt, and dust from baseboardsBonnet 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms a dayInstall and remove air purifier/ ozone machine following all safety standardsTHE REQURIEDHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalentWHAT WILL MAKE YOU STANDOUT Prior Experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing, and extraction equipmentExperience in general cleaning such as janitorial or housekeeping workTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE Knowledgeable of basic cleaning chemicals and equipmentFamiliarity with upholstery cleaning machine, wet vacuum, and vacuumsExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMaintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
