Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in problem-solving and customer assistance to meet or exceed patient needs and safety standards. This role involves assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, interacting professionally with customers, physicians, and staff, and maintaining accurate records of medication and equipment dispensed. Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Interact professionally with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff. Gather appropriate information to properly process a patient's prescription. Maintain accurate records of medication and equipment dispensed to patients. Enter patient data accurately into pharmacy software programs. Ensure correct insurance information is entered and claims are properly adjudicated. Collaborate with coworkers, pharmacists, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Secure protected health information and required paperwork. Maintain sufficient prescription inventory levels and order products for the pharmacy. Receive and store incoming products and supplies, including counting, stocking, and entering computer data. Essential Skills: Pharmacy Technician certification with over 2 years of experience. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency with electronic pharmacy programs. Ability to support customers over the phone. Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must register with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician. Work Environment: The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one late shift per week typically ending at 8 p.m. Additionally, there is one Saturday shift per month from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role offers opportunities for advancement based on performance within a supportive and team-oriented environment. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
