Job Description
- Participate in SikaSafe program and comply with all safety standards as outlined by Sika's safety policy
- Close out Admix delivery meter tickets daily
- Assist the Manager/Buyer Planner in scheduling, planning and purchasing
- Coordinate the delivery of raw materials and packaging requirements using MRP functionality to meet production schedules.
- Review production schedules and estimate requirements to complete production assignments
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on any past due or delayed receipts with the supplier
- Expedite, reschedule, or cancel material deliveries as dictated by changes in demand
- Communicate any disruption in the raw material flow to the production team immediately
- Approve time & attendance of temporary employees and communicate to the agencies.
- Report daily production numbers to the Plant Manager
- Perform cycle counts as well as other inventory verifications as required.
- Manage inter plant stock transfers
- Assist the shipping department in scheduling trucks as needed
- Purchase & maintain plant operating supplies.
- Manage returned products
- Participate in the sustainability efforts (energy conservation, waste reduction) in the plant
- Perform all other duties as required by the Plant Manager and Material Manager.
- Must participate in SikaSafe activities and trainings
- Must have a High School diploma or GED
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have good math skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Must have 2+ years of experience
- Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Must be self-motivated and able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
