Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Project-Level Geotechnical Engineer for our Alliance, Ohio office. Candidates should have between 5-7 years of experience as follows:

Primary Duties:

  • Complete accurate geotechnical exploration reports
  • Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.
  • Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.
  • Assist in developing in-house practices and professional development of staff
  • Provide higher-level task support to the COT group
  • Coordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparation
  • Coordinate and review laboratory testing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • P.E. or other professional licensure is preferred
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Own Transportation, valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • NICET, ACI and/or other certifications desired
