As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for residents and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the building, verifying identification, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. By maintaining a strong presence at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive atmosphere. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.36 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and notifying residents as needed. Support Allied Universal management with emergency response activities when appropriate. Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or undesirable behavior. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
