POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, this position supports the Dealer, Engineered Products and Commercial Pavers Sales Teams in in all areas of customer service; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Runs a variety of reports including; Order entry. Invoicing/credits. Monthly job close-out reconciliations. Stock checks and material availability. Order status reports for Customers and Sales Representatives Contacts customers by telephone at times. Prepares samples for customers and sales reps as requested along with preparation to send out. Coordinates sample kit inventory with a minimum of each type on hand at all times. Keeps sales office area organized, stocked with samples, and uncluttered. Attends in-house sales meetings when needed. Performs required paperwork and helps maintains Structural job files. Supports Sales staff and Sales manager as needed. Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. Predictable, and Regular attendance is required. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training on Inside Sales support in concrete masonry industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of masonry and code standards preferred. Working knowledge/experience of Hana preferred. Communication Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a personal computer plus related software and other various standard office machines and equipment necessary to complete duties. Working knowledge of SAP S/4 software preferred, but not required. Regular attendance is required. Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
