From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAFE LINE COOK

As a Cafe Line Cook, you are vital to the operations of our restaurant. You fulfill all our orders according to the recipes and instructions. Alongside the rest of the kitchen staff, you use various cooking methods to prepare each menu item accurately. Through your training, you're able to work at any station in our kitchen. You ensure that food comes simultaneously and in a timely fashion.

Always attentive to detail, you perform portion control and minimize waste. You ensure that each ingredient and product we use is fresh and of high quality. Additionally, as you work you maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. You love making delicious food each day and take pride in always meeting our quality and cleanliness standards

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CAFE LINE COOK

• High school diploma OR equivalent
• Experience cooking from scratch in a fast-paced restaurant
• Current Texas food handler certification
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing throughout the shift and lifting up to 35 pounds
