This is an on-site position.Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following:Able to read blueprintsPrevious electrical experience – preferably in an industrial settingAble to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift trainingAble to work outside in all weatherAble to lift up to 75-100 poundsAble to read and writeAble to use basic mathematicsAble to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shiftAble to pass mechanical aptitude testAble to use laddersAble to use lift trucks (i.e. – Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)Able to use various hand tools and power toolsAble to work with a group or unsupervisedAbility to work various shifts and ‘on-call’ as neededRequirements:Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman ElectricianUse 2-way radiosWear task-specific Personal Protective EquipmentComply with all safe work practices and proceduresKeep work areas clean and tidy at all timesApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is dedicated to being the premier supplier of premium family farm-raised corn-fed Black Angus beef.
