Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Sr. Manager, Controller & FP&A, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for a variety of activities in respect to product costing, record to report activities and financial MIS. This position is mainly responsible for Product costing, Product pricing, budget vs actual variances analysis, Month/Quarter End Closing activities, Fixed asset accounting, Account Reconciliations, Master Data Management, Activity based cost calculations and reporting, closely work with Corporate Finance and Functional Departments. Preparation of Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, P&L, Capital Employed, Cash Flow, Balance sheet Ensure timely Closure and finalization of Books of Accounts for Submission to Management Preparation of Budget Long term financial Projections for next 5 Years, Product wise P&L Preparation and Analysis of Revenue/Contribution Variances with respect to Budget , Projection, Strategy Process state and Federal Tax and Regulatory compliance Develop systems and processes for accurate and prompt collection of accounting information Cost Centre wise expenses Analysis. Audits employee expense reports and enters into the system. Preparation of audit schedules on periodic basis. Performs Capital expenditure monitoring, fixed assets accounting in SAP and coordinates physical verification of assets. Handles and coordinates controls manager for SOX compliance. Uploads quarterly financials in Hyperion for consolidation at corporate level.

Experience and Qualifications:

T o perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the experience and qualifications required :

Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance Master Degree in Finance or CPA preferred

Industry Experience Required 2-5 years of demonstrated experience as Finance Analyst post qualification Demonstrated experience and knowledge in fundamental accounting principles and processes including state and federal regulatory compliance, as well as auditing and maintaining accounting reports and information.

Communication Skills Excellent telephone mannerism and communication skills. Ability to create and present reports, as well as correspondence effectively. Efficient in solving problems, and working with diverse variables. Accounting/Finance Skills Demonstrated thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and guidelines. Ability to perform basic and higher mathematical calculations. Computer skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Preferred- SAP operating knowledge of CO, MM and FI module.
