Join us.” Essential Function We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Ecommerce to lead our online business initiatives including sallybeauty.com, cosmoprofbeauty.com and marketplaces. The VP of Ecommerce will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, growth, and performance of our online business. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the digital commerce landscape, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of scaling online businesses. Primary Duties 30%Builds vision for differentiation and sustainable growth across owned sites, app and marketplaces. Facilitates alignment of resources across marketing and IT and other support functions. Ensures plans are executed to drive topline and bottom-line results 20% Owns online merchandising and works cross functionally with merchandising and marketing leadership to build shared priorities for growth. Understands digital influence on omnichannel customer journey 20% Utilizes data-driven insights to monitor, analyze, and report on ecommerce performance. Sets and achieves key performance indicators for traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and overall sales. 20% Highly visible and inspirational leader. Builds talent inside the ecommerce team and fosters cross functional collaboration at all levels of the organization 10% Monitors ecommerce trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscape. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Master’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 10 years of e-commerce management experience Experience with revenue streams of $300 million+ Multi-departmental management experience Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong leadership and management skills Strong technical understanding of web technology Ability to conceptualize, strategize, and understand interactive functionality that increases customer conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Strong project management, organization, planning, and communication skills Strong understanding and experience in online merchandising Online usability and best practices experience Online customer conversion strategies Competencies and Attributes Leadership and team building Influence and vision setting Ability to make on-the-spot decisions Self-motivated; self starter Working Conditions and Physical Requirements The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
