Job Title: Forklift Operator - Truck Loader

Department Name: Manufacturing

Reports to (title): Logistics Supervisor

Business Unit: Fort Mill

Job Summary: Responsible for loading trucks for shipment and moving products around warehouse by using a forklift. Identify stack boxes or products to load according to shipping plan.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Load all trucks according to the regulations and guidance.
  • Assist shipping department in all necessary functions.
  • Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport.
  • Weighs and records weights of products if necessary.
  • Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.
  • Determines when repairs need to be made on shipment and notify management.
  • Maintains clean work area.
  • Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
  • Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
  • Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing work experience
  • 5S hands on experience
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish - a must.
