Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading regional medical center in Nogales, AZ to find a visionary and dedicated Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery to join their team In this pivotal role, you'll play a vital role in leading, supervising, and inspiring a team of nurses who provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during childbirth.

The Labor & Delivery unit plays a crucial role in welcoming new life into the world. As the Nurse Manager, you'll ensure a positive and safe birthing experience for mothers and their families by:

  • Providing strong leadership and supervision to a team of Labor & Delivery nurses, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Developing and implementing unit policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Creating a culture of safety and quality care within the Labor & Delivery department.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and orienting new nursing staff.
  • Mentoring and coaching your team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Scheduling and staffing the unit to ensure optimal patient care and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with physicians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
  • Monitoring and evaluating unit performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing educational programs to keep your team up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in Labor & Delivery care.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery.
  • Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Passion for women's health and childbirth.
