Senior Tax Manager
We are partnering with a public accounting firm seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading tax engagements, managing client relationships, and driving business development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact while building market presence and selling to clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee tax compliance and planning engagements for a diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax guidance and solutions to optimize their financial position and achieve their business objectives.
  • Builds new relationships and maintains existing relationships with professionals and external sources.
  • Oversee and review the preparation of corporate and state tax filings.
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services, cultivate new client relationships, and build market presence.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's tax practice and service offerings.
  • Reviews work prepared by, train, and mentor associates & senior associates.
  • Schedules and manages workload of associates and senior associates.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients and team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building market presence and selling to clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
