About the Job

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. As a Financial Analyst, you will partner with senior leadership and the accounting team in developing financial models, forecasting, budgeting, performing variance analysis, trends analysis, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports - analyze actual results vs budgeted/forecasted, calculate variances and explain the causes of these variances to the management
  • Perform cost analyses and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, process analysis, drive process improvement, provide financial forecasts and recommend actions for optimization to management.
  • Assist in budget process.
  • Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic influences and other factors affecting investment programs.
  • Guide the cost controlling process and work with the management in enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and general accounting or cost accounting
  • Experience in consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  • Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems, willing to learn new system
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills
