Position Summary

Are you looking for an exciting in-house IOM opportunity in Charleston, SC that requires no travel, involves challenging cases from different specialties, and has endless continuing education opportunities?

The Intraoperative Monitoring team works closely with a group of in-house Neurophysiologists and has built effective relationships with our anesthesia teams and surgeons. The accredited IOM Lab is part of the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, which proudly comprises five accredited labs also, including Outpatient EEG, Inpatient EEG, EMG, and Neurovascular. Our technologists are among the most qualified and talented available across the entire country.

As our neuroscience program continues to expand, we are looking for strong, dedicated people to join our team with a passion to deliver the best possible healthcare for our patients. The Clinical Neurophysiology Department has built many opportunities for advancement within the department, as well as endless opportunities for continuing education. Position Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in health science; or an associates degree with one or more neurodiagnostic registries (R. EEG, R. EP, R. NCS); or completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program that is CAAHEP accredited and one or more neurodiagnostic registries (R. EEG, R. EP, R. NCS) required.
  • Must have a Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) and a minimum of 1-year experience in Intraoperative monitoring and perform multi-modality intraoperative monitoring.
  • May require working irregular hours under stressful conditions, rotating shifts, and weekends.
  • Complex spine experience
  • Employees must possess considerable knowledge of basic medical terminology and human anatomy; the ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of complex therapeutic procedures; and the ability to make accurate physical observations of patients.
Salary
  • $60k-$105k (Based on Experience and CNIM)
