Job Description: As a Electrical Engineer/ Data Scientist in our department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the functionality and development of Digital Pressure Testing (DPT). You will be responsible for handling large datasets, developing algorithms, and working on software testing to ensure optimal performance. This role requires a strong ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure and contribute effectively to our data network. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain databases for optimal data storage and retrieval. Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights. Implement data processing algorithms using Python and MATLAB. Conduct data acquisition and visualization to support engineering decisions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pressure transducers and related software. Test and validate software associated with data acquisition and processing. Collaborate with team members to enhance data network infrastructure. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Drilling Experience is a plus Proficient in Python, MATLAB, and SQL. Strong background in data analytics, data visualization, and data processing. Experience with pressure transducers and related hardware is highly desirable. Familiarity with standard data acquisition systems and network protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
