**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking an **Environmental Laboratory Intern for Fall Semester 2024** . This position is part-time and 100% onsite located in **Norwell, MA** .
**Responsibilities**
+ Initiate and perform sample processing following written SOPs and QAPPs
+ Conduct and document appropriate quality control and assurance procedures for monitoring and evaluating the quality of sample preparation procedures
+ Enter data and observations into Laboratory Information Management System
+ Experience with extractions of PFAS samples
+ Analysis of environmental PFAS samples by LC/MS/MS
**Key Qualifications**
+ Must be currently pursuing bachelors or master's degree in Chemistry or in an environmental-related field with at least 18 months of undergraduate work completed.
+ Related work experience (Paid or unpaid) in the environmental chemistry/biology discipline.
+ Experience working in a laboratory, including preparing, conducting, and documenting tests.
+ Strong work ethic and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
+ Commitment to excellence.
+ Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Positive attitude and eagerness to take on technical challenges.
+ Must be available to work up to 20 hours/week during business office/lab hours.
+ Must be U.S. Person by definition of U.S. export laws
