As part of EMCOR Group, Southern Industrial's ability to serve our customers is enhanced by EMCOR's financial strength and national presence. **Southern Industrial is seeking a Crane Operator with current NCCCO TLL certification to work out of our Columbia, SC office on various jobsites in the surrounding area. NCCCO for fixed & swing preferred, but fixed cab is required. Must be willing to travel within NC/SC/GA.** The primary function of this position is to independently perform lifts and picks utilizing the following types of cranes but not limited to Link-belt, Grove, Liebherr, All terrain and hydraulic truck cranes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES + Complete JSA’s and lift plans. + Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties. + Perform all necessary safety checks on the equipment per procedures & policy. + Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks. + Operate cranes in a safe manner. + Operate 190 ton + May operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes. + Maintain logbook, ELD’s and comply with Hours of Service and all other DOT requirements for CDL drivers. + Collaborate with Riggers and Truck Drivers to hoist materials and or loads through Radio or visual signals and other communication. + Regular attendance is required. + Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS + Class B CDL is a minimum, Class A CDL preferred. + NCCCO Certification TLL and TSS (Service Trucks). + Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating cranes. + Clean driving record. + Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. + Minimal overnight travel may be required. **We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
