Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to residents of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Our Omnicare of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, operates 24x7 serving a large number of facilities in addition to providing seamless support to other Omnicare locations. Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you'll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company's mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.

As a pharmacist leader for our Long Term Care Pharmacy, you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. You will work alongside a team of pharmacy professionals dedicated to providing timely, safe and effective care to patients.

This is a full time, benefit eligible position offering 40 hours a week. All hours will be worked on-site at our King of Prussia, PA location. Majority of shifts will be Monday-Friday. Other shifts will need to be covered as part of leadership responsibilities. A Brief Overview
Coordinates daily operations within the pharmacy in conjunction with other supervisors/managers. Assists in ensuring that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely.

What you will do

  • Leads a team of direct reports that includes both technician and pharmacist colleagues
  • Advances a team of direct/indirect reports focusing on optimizing colleague performance management, talent development, and maximizing team and individual engagement.
  • Maintains real time awareness of production staff activity to ensure proper and timely order entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules
  • Creates effective staffing schedules and workflows
  • Accountable for daily operational execution to achieve organizational goals
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable federal and states laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Hires, manages and develops talented pharmacists and technicians to deliver upon Omnicare's patient-centric mission
  • Develops processes to monitor accuracy and quality of pharmacy operations.
  • Guides other colleagues through consultation, mentoring, and collaborative leadership to build depth of capability, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.

Required Qualifications
Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania, active and in good standing.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46.03 - $99.14

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
