Description:

Position Purpose:
The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas.
What you will do:
- Perform required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area.
- Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
- Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.
- Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.
- Collect soiled linen from all departments.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- High School diploma or (GED) preferred; or one to three months' related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Part-Time 20 Hours - Evening Shift
