General Position Overview
The Project Financial Analyst creates and maintains project financials for projects in launch. The Project Financial Analyst will work closely with cross functional team members to gather all costs and lead the teams cost reduction activities to maintain financial goals. The Project Financial Analyst will also publish a financial roll-up at each project milestone for leadership to review.

Work with engineering functions to consolidate material and labor costs
Responsible for all tooling, capital, and engineering cost and analysis
Retain supporting back-up for costs
Report project financials to project teams and leadership as necessary
Facilitate cost reduction meetings on projects as necessary and track implementation of each idea
Business Development
Improve our financial bill of material template to better work with our growing business
Create a financial dashboard to show new product growth over the next 3 years
Develop and maintain overhead rates
Outstanding communication skills are essential for success in this position

Microsoft Excel skills
Proven excellence in financial skills
Proven ability to

influence/teach/coach

team members and leaders
Vehicle OEM experience is a plus
Proven teamwork skills
Understanding of ERP and financial reporting systems
Syteline experience a plus

Physical/Mental/Sensory

Requirements
Able to stand and sit for various lengths of time
Able to bend/twist and reach a limited amount of time

Working Conditions
Fast paced, team-oriented environment
Office environment including:
- Light to Moderate noise level
- Moderate temperature range

Minimum Requirements

(Education, Experience, and Certification)
Four-year college degree in Business or Finance;
- A Technical education, such as Engineering or Program Management, will also be considered;
Advanced degree such as an MBA or professional accreditation (CPA, CMA) is preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience related to project costing
