**Position Summary:** Assists production by loading and unloading shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and storage
**Position Accountabilities:**
* Responsible for the loading and unloading of shipments (both incoming and outgoing). This includes picking, packaging and loading material in a specific manner that meets trailer requirements.
* Lifting and moving product, either on pallets or not palletized
* Input and retrieve significant data to assigned bar code units and maintain accurate inventory and storage data
* Perform light quality control to ensure that products are going to the correct areas
* Safe and efficient operation of fork lift and attachments
* Perform regular echelon machine maintenance
* Perform general cleanup and maintenance of your work area
* Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards ie: Proper use of personal protective equipment, proper use of safety devices, machinery, tools and equipment.
**Position Specifications:**
* 1-2 years of large scale manufacturing experience preferred
* Must have a valid drivers license
* Experience operating a fork truck is highly preferred
* Must be able to achieve company fork truck certification
* Ability to run equipment on multi-surface levels, safely and effectively
* Basic computer skills
* Prior experience using bar code equipment is preferred; Must be able to learn/use Visibar
* Must be self-motivated with the flexibility and initiative to take on a variety of tasks when needed
* Demonstrated work ethic and work habits that adhere to company policies & procedures
