Description

  • Oversee month-end close processes for the plant, including variance analysis, accruals, and reclassification journal entries.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of production data and prepare weekly management reports detailing labor performance, material usage, and cycle count adjustments.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process for the plant.
  • Form relationships across various departments within the plant to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes from a financial perspective to reduce costs
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis of expenses and stay proactive in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of chemical deliveries and associated costs to optimize budget management.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing Experience (Food & Beverage Industry preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
