So, if you want to be challenged in an exciting and fast-paced environment, this is the place for youJob Summary:Removes trash, transports linen and terry, moves boxes of product and supplies and performs heavy lifting for the housekeeping department. Also vacuums public areas, corridors and maintains the pool area. This position's starting wage is $14.Essential Functions:Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.Removes trash from closet area and compacts itAssist room attendants from removing trash and debris from roomsTransports soiled linens to laundry departmentReturns clean linens and terry to housekeeping storage on the guest floorsVacuums public areasMaintains pool area and fitness roomsAssist in inventory of supplies and equipmentShampoos carpet and buffs tileSweep and mops stair wells dailyCleans smoking urnsDelivers boxes of product and supplies to housekeeping department or warehouseAssists room attendants in cleaning roomsPicks up trash and debris in public areasCleans shower and bathroom in pool areasCleans glass on windows in public areasFlips mattresses quarterlyEnsures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.Will be able to work varied shifts - i.e. days, nights, weekends, holidaysKnowledge of all promotions and events.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Excellent customer service skillsHigh School graduate or equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong administrative, organizational and decision making abilitiesAbility to lead, influence others and coach for successPhysical Requirements: Physically mobile with reasonable accommodationsRespond to visual and aural cuesRead, write, speak, and understand EnglishAble to work flexible shiftsOperate in mentally and physically stressful situationsAble to be confined to a small area for a long period of timeEnvironmental Working Conditions:The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
