Summary:The Pharmacist is first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She will provide pharmaceutical care for all guests and team members in accordance with our mission statement: "Ultimate Service, Superior Performance, and Positive Impact"Key Responsibilities:When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guestMaintain integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework provided by the State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety and other governmental agencies in conjunction with the policy and procedure guidelines set forth by Albertsons CompaniesAssure completion and compliance of goals, tasks, standards, and other job related criteria assigned to the pharmacyMaintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education and compliance with evolving pharmacy operationsOversee every aspect of the pharmacy operation including dispensing, counseling, scheduling and supervision of technicians, participation in clinical programs including immunization administration, inventory management and controlOther duties as assigned by upper managementKey Requirements:BS and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited School of PharmacyRegistered Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy with license in good standingPreceptor by the State Board of PharmacyExcellent problem solving and management skillsBasic accounting and computer skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsPharmacy Retail experiences a plusPerform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing and walking for 8-12 hour periodAbility to function as a team member and get along with othersAbility to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitudeThis job description is intended to provide a high-level of general requirements for this position.
