PositionSummary
Positionis responsible for handling all incoming materials and packaging supplies from pointof receipt to movement throughout warehouse locations in accordance with GMP andsafety standards (i.e. MSDS, OSHA, etc.). Accurately label both raw materialsand finished goods with appropriate documentation. Proper planning is alsorequired to review requirements and replenish materials in warehouse/productionstaging areas and transfer and prepare finished goods for shipment. Thisposition may be exposed to hazardous materials and will have access toextremely confidential information.

Responsibilities &Duties
  • Fillsrequisitions for shipments to customers. Receives materials from suppliers. Reviews,evaluates and manages material requirements report and replenishes materials inthe warehouse/production staging areas.
  • Worksclosely with Logistics Team Leader to determine/understand: Lead Times, Min/MaxInventories, Process Flows. Receives and transfers raw materials, packagingsupplies, finished goods, and other miscellaneous supplies throughout thewarehouse, site and the organization.
  • Properlydocuments material receipts, transfers, shipments and labeling according to GMPprocedures. Properly labels raw materials, and finished goods to be shipped inaccordance with GMP. Properly transfers materials and loads trailer forshipments to internal and external customers. Properly records adjustments,
    receipt,and transfer of materials.
  • Performsgeneral cleaning and maintenance tasks such as trash removal, floor sweeping,mopping, etc. in order to maintain neat and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Actsas site support personnel (i.e. logistics, production, maintenance, etc.) asneeded.
  • Properly disposes of and stores waste, in accordance with locallaws/MSDS/OSHA, as needed.
  • Required tooperate material handling equipment, such as intra-site vehicles, fork truck,hand truck, stretch wrapper, etc. and lift/push/pull heavy materials and supplies.
Required Qualifications:
  • HighSchool Diploma, or equivalent, (Associate Degree preferred) with 3 years'experience in GMP manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Must havegood communication skills and able to read, retain, and assist in developmentof procedures.
  • Must havethe ability to perform multiple tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Must be self-motivatedand be able to perform at a high standard with little supervision.
  • Must excelin attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
  • Mustpossess the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 1000 lbs.
  • Musthave a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge/Understandingof Process Flow Mapping, JIT, FIFO, Flexible
